Please 2012-2014

Selected cover illustrations for Please, a complimentary brochure being issued monthly by Japan Railway Kyushu. You can find one of these in many trains and stations in Kyushu.
Often times, I am asked to illustrate a landmark or famous spot featured in the booklet, and this time I needed to illustrate one of the popular waterfalls located in Kagoshima Prefecture in Kyushu. I thought it could make an interesting and unusual composition by depicting a waterfall from very far away in distance to show how it existed as a part in nature.
The piece above titled waterfall was awarded a silver medal in institutional category by Society of Illustrators Illustrators 56.
The 5 pieces above were also awarded a gold medal as a series in institutional category by Society of Illustrators Illustrators 57.
