I didn’t even know until now that the book has been submitted but am glad to find out it has been shortlisted for the award. Here is the detail.

The Folio Society’s edition of The Sea, The Sea by Iris Murdoch, and illustrated by Tatsuro Kiuchi, has been shortlisted for a Design Week Award 2010. These awards are among the design world’s most prestigious, with Britain’s leading agencies represented. The Sea, The Sea has been nominated in the Print Editorial category. The winners will be announced on Tuesday 2 March.

Folio Art Manager Sheri Gee said, ‘I’m really excited by this – we haven’t entered the competition before and it represents a fantastic opportunity to show our beautiful books to a new audience.’
